Skunk removal
Skunks are North American mammals that have short legs, thick bushy tails and black fur with a white stripe running down their back. They are well known for their defensive spray which can go up to 10 feet and has a horrible smell but lack proper vision meaning they cannot see very far. A skunk can weigh anywhere from 6 to 8 pounds and grow up to 80 cm in length. On average, the lifespan for a skunk in the wild is about 3 to 6 years. Skunks are omnivores which means they can eat both plant and animal food. Many of the foods include fruit and plants, insects, larvae, worms, eggs, reptiles, small mammals, and even fish. The reproduction cycle starts when the male and female mate from February to April. The young are born about two to three months after conception with about 2 to 10 kits in total. As for the habitat, the areas skunks live in are usually made by another animal. These can include burrows and tunnels, hollow logs and fallen trees.
